Ang napapalitan na lang ng mga bagay
Tulad ng
“Paano ako liligaya?”
“Ano ang magiging trabaho ko?”
“Sino ang aking magiging asawa?”
“Ako ba ang magiging mayaman sa mundo?”
“Gagaya ba ako o magiimbento ng bago?”
“Paano ba ako magiging mabuting anak?”
“Asawa? Ina? Ama? Kapatid? Kaibigan?”
“Mamamayan?”
“Susuporta ba ako sa gobyerno?”
“O magiging sakit lang ng ulo?”
“O wala na lang akong magiging pakialam?”
At kung anu ano pa.
Tanong ko lang naman
Habang ako’y nabubuhay pa.
Bakit ako pinanganak? Bakit ako kumakain ng kanin? Bakit sa Pilipinas?
May purpose ba ako? Pinadala ba ako para maging superhero?
O maging sakit ng ulo sa mga magulang, gaya ng karamihan?
Tulad din yan ng tanong ko kanina
O sige na nga
Siguro nandito ako upang isulat ko ito
At ibrodkast upang mabasa ng isang taong
Nalulungkot sa buhay
Nawawalan ng pag-asa
Nagsasawa sa pagpipilian
Nagaasam ng bago
O naghihintay lang habang pinapalipas ang oras.
